JustFor.fans Launches 'Fentanyl Test Strip' Initiative

LOS ANGELES — JustFor.fans (JFF) has launched a test strip initiative to combat the nationwide fentanyl crisis.

For the initiative, JFF has manufactured 50,000 branded fentanyl test strips, which they will distribute across the country at bars, performance venues, and their own events throughout the year.

"While JFF is best known as a creator-first fan platform that empowers LGBTQ+ and independent adult creators, the company has been a longtime advocate for marginalized voices," said a rep. "They have raised more than $221,000 for trans organizations, sex worker advocacy groups, and various industry charities."

JFF founder Dominic Ford elaborated on the initiative.

"Our community is being decimated by fentanyl,” he said. "I was at a memorial service for two young men a few months ago and kept wondering how I could be part of the solution. My answer was to make testing strips widely available where they currently are not.

"JustFor.fans has always stood up for our community and tried to solve its problems, or at least be part of the solution," Ford added. "If we can save anybody by making these test strips available, then it is worth it."
